Caruso Electrical Contracting LLC was founded in 2018 by master electrician Angelo Caruso to properly serve the home and business owners of Albany, Schenectady, Saratoga Springs, NY, and the entire Capital Region. We are still growing but already successful in this market and strive to continue that growth and success for decades to come. Our jobs include commercial fit ups, new construction, residential service work, EV charging station installations, generator installations, LED upgrades – just about anything. The Caruso Electrical Scholarship Fund
Of all the things I have done in business this might be my favorite to date! Last week, I visited my hometown of Copiague, NY and presented three students at Walter G O'Connell Copiague High School with the Caruso Electrical Contracting Scholarship Award. I put together two scholarships. One is the Service award with the traditional criteria: good grades, good attendance, good character on paper. The second is the Trade award, for a student who is actively enrolled in trade school, looking to continue their education in the trades, and start working right after school. The gentleman who won the Trade award mentioned on his application that he would buy tools with the money, so I surprised him with a $500 worth of battery-powered tools along with the scholarship.
Like myself, many students come from low-income, single-parent households in Copiague, so I know how far a little financial assistance can go in these students' lives. It was my great honor to provide a helping hand to the next generation of Copiague students.
